Love Mary..she is has her same quick wit...doesn't seem in any way inebriated. Now her hair...not so much. Appears she has had some work done on her face like many women decide to do.

From the Clinton era, I'd prefer Carville over Morris. They were talking about their daughters when I saw them interviewed recently, said one is more liberal and one is more conservative. And that was about as far as they went with that which is proper because they are young, both under 21 and the one under 18.

she's always talked with a ""clenched teeth"" kinda speech pattern . . . like when you have kids and to keep from raising your voice or yelling you speak with a ""clenched teeth"" sort of tone / pattern. JMO

But then I didn't watch this specific clip . . . but have seen her recently speak.

I have always thought she slurred her words because of her tight lips, so it is hard for me to say.

I just saw that profile view of her, and just was shocked by it.

I do love it when they are on the same show together - such an interesting couple!

I saw Mary and James on The View last week and I was shocked.

I don't know what she's done to her face but it didn't move at all, and looked bloated. It looked bad.

Her speech wasn't normal on that show, either. Not as bad as what I'm reading here, but I noticed it was slower and slightly slurred. Definitely not normal for her.

She talked about her cats (she has many in her house) walking on the counters and James getting upset about it. She couldn't understand why, and James tried to explain the cats don't belong walking where food is prepared. I agreed with him!

Mary was never a beauty, that was never her appeal. But she was smart and feisty and passionate and opinionated - all great attributes. IMO - even though I don't think I agree with her on anything!

She had no reason to change her face so drastically...like Greta did as well.

It's her opinions lately that have me wondering about her health...

I went to college with Mary's younger sister. I don't know if something is wrong with her, but she has had some work done. Very odd couple

I only saw them on BM's show and I too was shocked. She definitely had some work done, but I've never seen her seem so fragile before. I know she has a clenched mouth type of speaking but this was a lot more than that. I think she mentioned something about it being their twentieth wedding anniversary and Bill did say she had a fall. But there definitely was something "off" about her that night.

Both Bill and James seemed on edge every time she started to speak and Bill kept patting her hand and arm.
