I read a post she was going to retire soon but Q talked her into staying I think until March 2025.

I would not stay if I was ready to retire.

Agree. I think it's weird announcing it 9 months ahead of time. Why???

My husband and I both let our employers know in January 2019 that we were retiring in July 2019 giving them plenty of time to hire and train our replacements. Both employers were very happy to have the information so far in advance.

@kaydee50 Mary Beth said she told QVC she would retire in August. QVC came to her and said please stay until March '25 instead. She agreed, since it would only be a few extra months. She made the announcement now because her retirement decision was known to the company and she didn't want it to leak out. She'd rather announce it publicly herself.
