I just ordered her lace up jeans in a bleached denim color. This will be my 8 th pr of her jeans

If they weren't good, I wouldn't be reordering

I almost started a post with the headlines "Is there Anything Martha Stuart DOES NOT sell?"

Good grief!  When I got home and turned on the TV she was standing next to a roto tiller?  Like SHE would really be using the machine at her house?

You know, I don't buy her clothes, they could be beautiful, I just don't pay any attention.

However, I looked up at the TV at some of the machinery she's been selling today!  Good grief!

I can assure you Martha does get down in the dirt sometimes if she is still able.  I have always noticed that her hands are working hands.  And she has done it a lot in her long and productive life.  Just think, her first BIG Entertaining book (which I still love and have to get out to look at occasionally) came out way back in the 1980s.

@Sooner. Yes, you are right. I have followed her the same as you. She was brought up in a working class family and has done all these things all her life. Anyone who knows anything about her knows this.

@cherry I love Martha Stewart jeans!  I have her embroidered canary jeans, and they fit & feel fabulous.  I almost bought the ankle snap jeans, but I already have a pair of flare snap jeans so I thought I better slow my roll.  😄

I have her forged knife set and her pyrex type storage containers that I purchased from Kmart in the early 90's. 25 years later, they still look like new and I use them several times per week.

OK!  Wow!  Thanks for the reset...You missed my point.  But that's OK.

I wasn't saying she's never used some of this equipment.  I was saying is there a limit to some of the things these people slap their name on and expect (I guess they do) people to buy them just because "Martha" says so.

I like Martha.  I've followed her for a very long time.  I think she is a strong independent woman; who doesn't apologize for being one and enjoys the other side of life (i.e. entrepreneur, homemaker, etc).

Anyway, it's not that I think people should just do/sell one thing.  I enjoy getting in the yard (or did) and using the weed-whacker.  I used to do everything, however, I don't consider myself knowledgeable about weed-whackers.  I can't explain what I was trying to get across.

It's nice that you feel so strongly about supporting Martha.  Please understand (in this instance) it wasn't really necessary (on my part, anyway).

Have a wonderful Sunday.

@Annabellethecat66.  I didn't miss your point at all since all your posts are the exact same way. You put someone or something down and when posters have different opinions you come back with a post just like this one. Putting the blame on everyone else. I need to learn to not read your posts. You have a nice Sunday as well.

As for her fashions, I can only comment on her jeans. I have several pairs already and have several more on their way - delivery being Mon or Tues. The quality is very good and I feel her prices are reasonable and on par with what you are getting - meaning you are actually getting your money’s worth. Unlike the over-priced subpar quality we quite commonly see. Again, I can only speak of her jeans, but would definitely expect her tops, etc. to be as equally good. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending trying her fashions and I will be the first to admit that there was initially a little eyeroll when I saw MS fashions were coming to QVC. 😉 She has more than proved herself to me.....

@Annabellethecat66  Well, at least you know that NOT getting the point is one of my strong suits.  And, I always enjoy your responses, whether I get the point or not!    Woman LOL

Martha is definitely into a lot of things, and seems to do it all very well. Unlike many celebrities, she is so involved, interested in everything she presents.. Martha is definitely not just a name presenting something.

@febe1

Your right TAJA and I find it VERY REFRESHING!  So many celebrities put their name on everything and anything and don't have a clue about the product...I once saw a singer hawking perfume on one the talk shows and you could tell she hadn't a clue....so when the host sprayed it...she looked surprised....and sayd WOW that does smell good doesnt it..I wanted to yell.....Gee, guess you dont know your own product with your name on it! Woman Frustrated
