I just happen to stumble across a repeat episode just as it was starting this evening and caught some of the introductions then DH got bored so I'll have to watch on demand later but the kid whose mother had cancer gives me concerns. Is this really a good time for something like this in his life?

We watched in on demand last night and thought the same thing about the guy who is taking care of his ill mother. Also I believe he's working with some guy doing wrestling and his partner didn't seem happy about it at all. He was too worried that his new marriage would interfere with their schedule along with his working schedule. With everything he has going on, we didn't think this was a good time for it either.

I also thought it was interesting to see Jamie (from Ben's season of Bachelor) being one of many who were chosen for the experiment.

I just do not understand why someone would choose to meet someone in this way? TV exposure? Getting paid for it? They have really low self esteem? It just seems so foolish to not see the person first. That one girl seems so picky and prim and then to see the guy wearing really bad scuffed white shoes and on his face warts all over it.... just UGGGHHH!! I certainly would not have chosen him just looking at him. Maybe they should have done this with blind people... at least the visual part would not be an issue in seeing someone as attractive.

I believe it's 'entertainment' based. I don't expect these couples to 'stay together', unless they were/are extremely lucky. One never knows...........

Joan Rivers was asked if she would ever go on a nude blind date....she responded that it would be too painful to pluck her nipples.....that about sums it up for me......LOL

It's on Tuesday nights at 9:00 p.m. Daylight Savings Time (East Coast). It's on the FYI network, which used to be called Biography. It's owned by A&E. HTH!
