Did anyone see this? There was so much wrong about it, I wanted to shout at the TV. If this woman was on the lam, how did she get ID to get a marriage certificate, are her kids' legally hers, since she gave birth under an assumed name, how could she work, how could she go back to Michigan for her mother's final days, and no one saw her, or reported her?
She was in jail, yet jumped over a barbed wire fence, putting her suede coat over it. Where did she get a suede coat? How did she drive to CA? If she only had $200 and the clothes on her back, where did she get the wooden box of memorabilia from her youth. Even Oprah seemed skeptical, especially with her story about arrest and conviction, "It wasn't my fault, I was set up, my lawyers steered me wrong,", etc., etc., etc. I guess that's called "selling the book" -- but the whole thing seemed so untruthful. And from what one of the kids said, I believe they knew for quite some time that she had a past she was running from. Geesh.
