Whatever she's doing, (probably a combination of exercise/work/rehearsing, N., etc.), she looks happily healthy, and that's the most important.

When she came on air last night, she said she lost the weight and has kept it off for 8 years. So, that would mean nutrisystem was in 2007 also. I really think her weight loss was a combination of both.

Re: Marie Osmond revisionist history

We focus too much on weight and looks in general in this world.

I always think of my one Aunt. She was thin, never smoked or drank, and ate healthy. Well she was a health nut, even went as far as to get rid of her microwave (way back when due to radiation). Sadly she died young of cancer.

So-IMO, as long as someone is happy and healthy, that's all that matters.

Anyone watching the Nutrisystem TSV with Marie Osmond on now? She talks about her weight loss like one day she decided she needed to change and then went on Nutrisystem. I thought she lost her weight on DWTS. I can see Nutrisystem helping with maintenance, but I really thought it was on DWTS that she lost the weight.

I do like her - I just hate dishonesty.

That's not right about the "revisionist" history .... Marie lost the weight tBEFORE she went on DWTS. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Thanks for clearing that up Tinkrbl44. It's good to know. Renews my faith in her. Smile

Deb, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. She still lost a lot of weight when she was on the show, so she was definitely heavier when she started....

Everyone loses weight on that show, but she dropped pounds before starting. {#emotions_dlg.unsure}

I've heard Marie say that she was not happy at the weight she'd gained. It made her feel tired and unable to do the things she wanted to do with her family.

It's good to take care of yourself so that you can enjoy your life. That's what she did.

Sure, anyone can get a terminal illness, but we still know that taking care of our health the best we can is really a better bet than not doing so.

Marie has also said that the workout thing she sells on QVC helped her to get in shape and keep her in shape.

No...I disagree. She lost a bit of weight before, during DWTS but she has continued to lose weight and looks better then ever now.

Re: Marie Osmond revisionist history

I googled some photos of her when she was on DWTS and she really didn't look 50lbs heavier than she is now. I think she dropped a few before the show, and dropped a lot during the show and dropped the remaining on Nutrisystem. She looked good either way.

Yes, I know that. She continued to lose more weight when she was exercising strenuously on the show.Smile

She looks great if she is really eating that concoction of processed, salty, food.{#emotions_dlg.unsure}I guess whatever works for her.

She looks great. She seems to believe in the product. As for the timing of her weight loss, I really don't care one way or the other.
