Feeling bad for Nashville.

The tornado was devastating, and the loss of revenue from the tournament will be a financial blow.

So will everything else that's being cancelled around here.  But, we'll bounce back.  We always do.  I just feel for the small business owners.  No business, no income and no work.  Some of the places have been offering jobs to people affected by the tornados due to so many businesses being destroyed.  How are they going to make it with no one coming in whether from the tourists or the virus?  Sad for all the cities and communities @Highlands72 .

Nicely said.❤🙏

So grateful for so many things in our lives.  We survived 9-11, and we will survive this.  (My heart is with those that are elderly in Italy that are being refused treatment for covid19...their priority is the young as they are more likely to recover).  I know we are fortunate to live in this country and missing a few events/games is not a high priority when considering the reasons.

While the NCAA tournament isn't the most important thing, I will say that I will miss following my bracket and cheering for my teams and the Cinderella!

It's a fun and frantic diversion in March.  And God knows we are going to need some diversion in the coming weeks.

Yes, you're exactly right. I know, too, that NCAA isn't the most important thing but man oh man are we sad.

I live in Dayton Ohio. After the Memorial Day Tornadoes that demolished many communities and the mass shooting in August, this Dayton Flyers team gave us something to smile about. I know it's just basketball to most, but to us....it was hope.

Kentucky basketball is in my blood with state championship titles and several family members who used to play for the Wildcats.  (I even had an athletic scholarship during my undergrad at UK. . .seems like yesterday!)  Our season tickets at Rupp Arena have been used for 6 generations.  We were looking forward to a Final Four in Atlanta.  Disappointed but know the #BBN will carry on.

From what I recall from your previous posts, you didn't attend UK, did you @HeiressIn-FL ?

That sounds like it would have been a wonderful time.  I hope they are able to reschedule so you can still go some day.
