March Blows In At The Back Fence

Good morning fellow fencers and any who would like to join us here at the back fence. All are most welcome.

Bobbie Sue, it was nice to see you here at the fence and hope you'll come back to visit with us.

Sunday we had horrible winds in my world. The sky was brown with dirt and amid all of that wind someone accidently started a fire in the dry brush and close to 20 homes and a kennel were destroyed in the Amarillo and surrounding area. I cannot understand such stupidity and the loss to hundred's is untold; not only financial, but emotional. Firefighter's were able to release many of the animal's, but some were lost. Hopefully those who were released will find their way home.

Epi, glad you finally got some answers and hope you can get some much needed relief; don't blame you for not wanting back surgery. And thanks for the congrats. I cannot imagine celebrating an 82nd anniversay! They must have married in infancy!

Happy Tuesday all. Sue

I'm going to paste Epi's last post as some of you may not have read it.

Queenof2-Congratulations on your anniversary. May you both have many more. I was reading in the paper today about 2 local couples who celebrated there 82nd anniversary, imagine!!!!!

Yock-congratulations to you & DH also. Glad to read your heart is beating normal again. Stay well...

Winifred-Boy, you do hate the cold don't you!!!! I don't blame you, as I find that it is harder to tolerate the older I get. So, you found the missing phone. I had to laugh that you knew you didn't leave it there. Tessa really keeps you on your toes doesn't she???? keeps you young, I hope!!

BobbieSue-Welcome. So glad you seem to be recovering from your broken hip so well. Please come and visit often. I have written on your thread a few times, as I lost both of my sisters to BC.

HASD-thanks for the very funny e-mail. I sent it to Baileykat.

Well, the news was not so bad, but also not great either. I have very bad degenerative disc disease-knew I had it, but has gotten much worse. Also, a few bulging discs, bone spurs on disc, spinal stenosis and a few more little problems. I may get some facet injections to kill the pain. That would be with anesthesia and under fluoroscope. I also want to get a recommendation from my PCP on who I should see next. I don't want to see a neurosurgeon, as they are usually anxious to do surgery, like a spinal fusion. NO WAY will I have anything like that for a long time to come. I do know of one spinal surgeon who does minimal-invasive surgery, through your side, he uses the Da Vinci robot. So therefor there is no cutting of muscles. If he can do something I might consider it, maybe. My goodness, I'm only 65 and I have the lower back of a old woman....

You all have a good weekend-it is to be 70 deg. in the next few days-Yahoo!!! spring is in the air. My snowdrops are blooming and my daffodil's are poking up through the ground.
