Today in the Midwest...

  • -27 wind chill temp
  • 50+ mph winds with higher gusts
  • Power went out 8 hours ago. Power company has no idea when it'll be restored.
  • Snowing and drifting

Oh dear!  Where are you?  It's probably headed straight toward us here in Ohio. What a wild winter. Hope you have power soon.

Don't know if it's part of the disturbance...it's coming soon in Maryland as nasty T storms.  Temps climbing up to the 60'sF with very strong winds

Ugh sorry @CalminHeart . Big March storms are the absolute worst when you are seeing Spring around the corner. I hope you get your power back soon.

I'm in RI and our forecast is for 50 mph winds and very heavy rain starting this evening and lasting all night.  Great, we'll most likey lose power and not get any sleep at all.  The only silver lining is that it's actually quite warm this morning, we're at 50 degrees already and overcast.

We'll take this over a blizzard any day.  Be safe everyone!

Here in southern NC, we are supposed to get lots & lots of rain with strong winds. The news had warnings for people to watch for fallen trees on the roads.

Often times, the weather people are wrong.

Hope everyone with bad predictions stays safe.

I'm working from home today and glad because it's already getting windy hear in SE MD.  Warm too.  We rarely lose power as all our lines are underground, but there are a lot of trees that I can see may succumb to the high winds we may have.  Fortunately, none are near the house. Stay safe folks!
