Yes, "Get Over It" sounds hostile.  "Easy Does It" sounds nicer to me.

I have a few thinge that I need to throw caution to the wind and "get over it'.  Here's hoping I can do it today!  Knowing other people are struggling helps.   You know what they say, misery loves company!

The Fool who got such a day named should never ber allowed to vote or live in this country. 

NO, I WILL NOT GET OVER CERTAIN THINGS.  NEVER FOR 2001 AND 9-11,

NEVER FOR ANY TERRORIST ACTS DONE IN MY AMERICA, MY COUNTRY, MY HOMELAND. 

They can take their Get Over It Day and re-name it to Shove it backup your backside day.
