Friends who live in D.C. have said that there are many helicopters flying over D.C. at this moment.

Perhaps generals and other highly placed officials are flying in for the President's 3:00 p.m. announcement.

It was a bit unusual, they thought.

It is critical that we remain positive, especially during this crisis, recognizing that we are moving ahead on all measures suggested by the CDC and the WHO.

The President is expected to declare a national emergency on the clovid-19 at 3:00 EST today.

I was about to add that the President is to "make a declaration" today.

ETA: He is obliged to declare an emergency in order to apportion funds to combat COVID-19. In this way, the President of the United States has publicly informed its citizens of where a large sum of money will be directed.

Am I thinking this out clearly? I hope so.

"Our camera guy in D.C. just saw moments ago a cart full of orders from Popeyes being wheeled into the Capitol building. You can see two staffers unloading the bags full of orders before heading inside".

Maybe they choppered in the Popeyes, LOL!

My guess is the helicopters were carrying the heads of CVS, Walmart, Target, Walgreen's, Quest, Lab Corp, etc., from their private jets to the South Lawn of the White House for their appearance at today's declaration and announcements.

It is heartening to see this united front against a deleterious virus. May all this coordination prove successful! I was particularly impressed by Walmart's, Target's and Walgreen's offering their parking area for drive-through testing.

Great cooperative spirit!
