Illussionist/Magician David Blaine has done some outrageous stuff in NYC as well. He is totally sane.

It's their job. Honestly it is.

Its a shame it has to cost the taxpayers money. He should be charged for the invasion of private property and pay back to the city of New York.

We don't refer to the mentally ill as "idiots" in our society anymore. The term "idiot" is derogatory and unnecessary.

He's in a harness and using powerful suction cups.
No matter why he is doing this, he wil be arrested.
Is this considered trespassing?

He was taken to New York City Health &
Hospitals/Bellevue and will likely be arrested
after he is discharged, and charged with criminal
trespass and disorderly conduct, police said.
People who have climbed other structures in New York
have been arrested and faced charges such as reckless
endangerment and trespassing.

Hmmm, to me they should of let him climb to the top, then arrested his butt when he made it up to the roof just for being ridiculous! And, we are wasting our police and emergency teams, WHY? If he wanted to climb, why did he not just go mountain climbing like most people do? Pure ridiculousness!!

It's all in a day's work in NYC; ....he meant no harm. I am glad he didn't fall and get hurt. On any given day, NYC police are dealing with crazy events. They were probably happy he wasn't a terrorist or had bad intentions.
