The only man buns I like are those that are posterior cheeks..

Takes a lot to turn me off from a good looking dude..........Ok...I said I was gonna stop with the pics.  I am because I'm drooling over myself.

Cute - I'd take them!

What is going on with the guy with two hands on one side? The guy in the top picture. Weird.

That's another male model that was cut out of the picture.

Neat & well groomed comes first, so if the bun fits that category it's OK with me.

My late husband was a biker, we hung out & rode with bikers.   Some bikers have long hair and long beards.   Not my style but they would never put their hair up in a bun, it wouldn't fit inside their helmet!!

Don't like man buns or facial hair beyond a neatly trimmed goatee/beard/mustache. Anything else and all I can think about is what debris/grime is living in it.

I like a man bun on a younger guy, and then it needs to be thick and slightly messy - like he just threw it in the bun to get it out of his face. The neatnik-pulled-back-crisp-and-clean bun is not appealing to me.

Scruffy facial hair? YummEEE. It started with Don Johnson's 5:00 shadow on Miami Vice, and it's never stopped.....Now THAT look works for me on men of all ages...

FTR...this is all pure fantasy. My SO has a 5:00 shadow...on his head.

Pony tails for some reason don't bother me.  No thick braid though.

A man bun just seems too girly.

Like next they'll sport a high pony with a teased up bump.  And then they'll use a claw clip.

And lets use some bobby pins and do a messy updo.

Ugh---it could get worse and worse!

We borrow fashion from males and they borrow from women.

We wear pants and perfume.  Sometimes they wear long hair and tie it up about out of the way.  The most masculine aspects of men are their facial hair, broad shoulders, etc.  Women have sandals and men have mandals.....

Typically I am not a fan of long hair on guys.  Some younger good looking guys are an exception.  Malcolm on Survivor can pull off long hair and a man bun.

Older guys with long hair, free flowing, braid, pony tail, bun or whatever are just yucky to me.

@muttmom

Yes, Malcolm can pull off long hair either "down or up."

Long  hair is okay on young GUYS but not on older MEN.
