What have your other life decisions you've made, have been right, whether head or heart?  I would think use your head, Logical thinking would be your saving grace.

When you're in a quandry, like it seems you are, the best thing to do is to sit down and write out the Pros and Cons lists.  Hopefully, this will bring some clarity to your situation.

I absolutely agree with this!!!

This is a Just In Case...

If it has anything to do with a relationship, my advice is never to enter into a relationship thinking you will be able to change someone, no matter what your heart tells you.

No relationship, not even interested at all.I had the best husband for 42 years.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

@goldensrbest, I didn't read every post but I agree that if you have a family member or a friend you who knows you well and will be straight with you, I would discuss it with him/her.  It is always a good idea to seek an opinion other than your own because we don't always see all the facets of a complicated situation.

My best to you.  I hope you get the best possible outcome!  LM

If your heart stopped beating, your head would not be able to think.

For me, it's always a combination of both....  my heart, because that's what started it all.  The heart wants what it wants.  But I'm too practical and pragmatic to not think things through so I don't end up in an unexpected mess.  I think it over up, down and sideways.  But if the situation may eventually go in a way that I know is not good for me... I will not pursue it.

I've done that several times in my life and have been SO happy I did.  That's not to say that I haven't acted on intuiion on occasion, and that's worked out as well .....

Good luck!!

@goldensrbest

When faced with a major decision, I gather as much info as I possibly can.  This doesn't include other people's input, however.  The information should be related to you and what makes you happy.  Look out for deal breakers.  These are behaviors or details that you can't tolerate.  Decisions based only on the heart are ofter clouded with emotions--which are sometimes not reliable to use to make life-changing choices.  Good luck!!  cheerleaders.gif
