Hubby and I may be in an employment predicament and were curious to know if the culinary environment is flourishing in Maine. We located some lovely homes in St. Agatha, but Portland and Bangor may have more business. Hubby is in his early 50's and I am right behind him, so a calm area to retire is also in our minds. Presently, we live at the shore in NJ, but it will never be the same. The culinary world here is laughable. Hubby is an Executive Chef and the place being built are not serving real food. No true chefs are in the kitchens. We seek a state where he can continue to work and yet we can enjoy the natural loveliness of the state. Thank you!
