Has anyone noticed how cheap magazine subscriptions have become? I paid $5 a year for Vanity Fair and Real Simple, and a few of them were free. I guess they hope you'll renew your subscription after your year is up and that's how they'll make their money?

Sunny--my DH has subscribed to Time Out NY for years. Now they'll be giving it out for free in the city--it's a sign of the times!

i have noticed.....that is why i have probably at least 20 magazine subscriptions.....i still enjoy reading them and looking at them.

Hardly ever buy magazines today. But yes, years ago I did tear out those inserts - especially the perfumed ones.
