If anyone is looking to purchase furniture I can recommend Macy's as a possibility.  In the past 2 years, I have ordered a bedroom set and sofa and loveseat and today had a swivel/recliner leather chair delivered.  Each time the price was excellent (Macy's has frequent sales), customer service excellent and delivery efficient.  Ordered the chair on Thursday, could have had it delivered on Saturday but opted for today.  Would definitely order again from Macy's.

I ordered quite a bit of our den furniture from Macys. The recliner is so comfortable even after quite a few years. Our bedroom set is made of real wood and the price didn't break the bank. Love Macys for furniture.

Both.  We saw and ordered the bedroom set and living room furniture in the store but I ordered the swivel/recliner chair on line after comparing prices on other websites.  Very happy with everything.

My daughter has a house full of furn from Macy's, it is nice, a little generic, but the quality is good.

If you can go into the store to order, please do.  The furniture sales people work on commission and appreciate when you order from them as opposed to looking in the store and ordering on line.

This is good to know, I am going there this week as I saw they had a sofa and a dining set I was interested in.

I recently purchased a sofa and two chairs for my living room from Macy's.  The quality of the furniture is great and delivery was very professional.  I did go to the showroom to order the furniture because I wanted to see the color swatches and if there was anything else in the showroom that I didn't see online.  My salesperson was terrific and made the process very easy.  She even mailed me swatches of the fabric so that I was able to make sure the colors worked with my area rug.

I guess I am the only one who wasn't happy with furniture from Macy's.  In the year 2004 I purchased a sofa and chair with ottoman for my living room and it didn't hold up well at all.  Three years later after tender loving care I gave it to Goodwill.  Sometimes we win sometimes we lose.

I made it to Macy's tonight and ended up getting a super comfy leather sofa.  I did not want to get out of it once I found it.  I could have slept there tonight.

Good news, it was in stock and can be delivered on Sunday.  

I think I'm over the matching set thing and I think I might find a fun chair at Home Goods in a fun color.  I'm in no hurry for that as I never sat in the one I had until recently because the sofa foundation was shot.
