Mackinac Island

Next week I am going on a well-deserved vacation to Mackinac Island, and I will be staying at the Grand Hotel. Has anyone reading this thread been there? Any tips or pointers for me? I have been enamored with this Island since watching Somewhere in Time with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. After 30 years, I'm finally going!
