Re: MY YEARLY ROSE OF TRALEE THREAD

@ShowMe....how do you know the Inis perfume is not the same?

I agree, it will be sad when it ends.  I bet you what....I bet they will either go to HSN or that other channel Evine.  I don't order from Evine....don't even watch that channel.  But, I bet they will go elsewhere.

Have fun.....I hope you enjoy your show this evening.  I plan on watching something else.

@ShowMe SHOW ME!  So great to see you girlfriend.  I didn't realize the Rose of Tralee was now!  I thought it was going to be in October for some reason.  If I wouldn't have spotted this thread I would have missed it.  I was over on TV boards looking for the housewives thread and spotted this one.

@Shout outs to @shell garden and @dooBdoo@  (looks like my @shell garden isn't going to work but anyway howdy if you come back by. )

Don't know if I will remember to check out the show tomorrow morning or not. The Irish shows just aren't the same anymore.   Anyway I think of you often, sweet ShowMe.

@scotttie....hey sweet pea.  Thanks for the shout out.  We have missed you tremendously.  I haven't posted (over there lately, lol)...and need to get over there and see what is going on.  I am doing some things around the house and I don't even post here as much as I would like.  We think of you often and hope you come back soon.  ((HUGS))

I know it's not the same because of the name of the one that was shown on air.....it was Inis arose....and that is not the fragrance I have.

The show that is on now is the final for the day.  So, I will be watching something else too.

Will be interesting to see if they do join another network.  If you hear anything, let me know, and I will do likewise...

Glad you came on here to post with us.  So far I haven't purchased anything.  So, I'm saving some $$$$$.

Re: MY YEARLY ROSE OF TRALEE THREAD

Thank you ShowMe for starting this annual thread. I have enjoyed the programming and decided to order the Aran wool zip front cardigan.

I truly hope that this beautiful tradition continues and that QVC will at least devote a little bit of programming for the Rose of Tralee. Many of us thoroughly enjoy it and would be very sad if it was discontinued.

Once again, thank you ShowMe.  I hope that we can meet again next year on this thread.....

Re: MY YEARLY ROSE OF TRALEE THREAD

I live a few miles from QVC so took a run over there earlier today. 3 of the 4 of my grandparents were from Ireland. I purchased a number of items. I bought the Waterford Cross, 2 sets of Rosary Beads, the shawl in green and natural, and a cape they haven't shown yet. Some are gifts maybe

I'm sad to see how the Irish shows have been cut. Back in the good old days you could go to the studio and sit in their cafe/bar and see the vendors present the items. There was live entertainment too.
