I bought this from shophq and have put blueberries and cut up strawberries and the water is still clear after about 2 hours-what am I doing wrong?

Does it have a fruity taste to it or does is still just taste like water?

catlover: did you cut up the blueberries? They have to be cut up before they release their flavor. I read about when looking at infusers myself...

Ha, ha! Actually, all you need to do is mush them a little...enough to break the skin and let the juices flow out.

I think you have to do that with any fruit that you want to use to infuse water...strawberries, raspberries, etc. Either slice them, or break them up just a little.

It would be so diluted, I can't imagine the fruit giving the water much flavor.

I mushed up the berries and it's just a light change in water color-tastes good though.
