MY HUSBAND "SHOT" A DEER TODAY :O

[ Edited ]

He said that they just stood and stared at each other before the deer turned and ran into a nearby field.

BTW   He could never "shoot" anything, except an intruder LOL.

Same shot, cropped in closer:

Beautiful creatures, aren't they?

(Sorry if this offended anyone.  I changed the word shot by putting quotation marks around it. )

She is a sizeable doe!  Looks very healthy.  Today I shooed some out of my flower beds.  They have pretty much been staying away, but it only takes one being curious to spread the word.  Usually we have so many hanging around the house, but this year they are eating elsewhere thank goodness.

I knew it wasn't hunting season; the new fawns are only about 8-10 weeks old now.   I see them as pests.

Disturbing thread title, but beautiful result!

DH was walking Kingston yesterday on a nature trail here on our island and they saw a deer.

DH said that Kingston looked at him like, what the heck is THAT!  LOL!

Beautiful creatures!Heart
