@Lindsays Grandma.  Upon hearing this very sad news, my heart goes out to you.  I know what it's like to lose a child; it's  the most tragic of life's experiences.  Does your son have a family?  Will you be traveling to be with him?  I'll be thinking of you and your family and hope for a peaceful passing for your son.

@Kachina624  Unfortunately due to my bad back  and the pain issues there is no way I can travel from AZ to New York where he is in Hospice.   My daughter-in-law and other members of his family are close by and they will be with him.  What is so sad is that he waited for a very long time for the kidney transplant and finally got it and then cancer struck him down.  He has suffered for many years,  the suffering will soon be over and he will be at peace.

I'm terribly sorry @Lindsays Grandma .  I wish I had the right words to say.  Thinking of you and your family during this time and sending prayers your way.  Take care.

I just now saw this.   Oh, my, dear (((@Lindsays Grandma))).   Mere words feel so inadequate.   The posts on this thread are heartfelt, beautiful, and a reminder of the genuine "community" we can find here.   Especially when we remind ourselves, human beings, that we have so much more in common than "in difference."   My prayers and my heart are with you, your son, and all who love him.   Please keep in touch with us here if you need to talk.   We can join hands across the cybersphere.❤️

@Lindsays Grandma  I can't say anything that hasn't already been said here, but I want you to know that I share those feelings of sadness and grief already expressed.  How painful to know you will lose your child!  As a mother, I'm sure the grief cuts to your heart.  May you, your son and your family find peace.

@Lindsays Grandma, I am so very sorry. Words are inadequate, but please know you and your family are being thought of with love and care.

I think there are some things we will just never understand. No parent should have to bury their child. So sorry your son is so ill and for the loss of your daughter.
