There are people in the south that have lost their homes, their family, roads are washed out, flooding, etc., and you are still worrying about snow removal! You still have your home and your wife with you!
I have lived in snow areas, and I hate the snow, and that is why we retired back to the South! This has been the warmest and wettest December in my 55 years living in AL! We are drying out today, but more rain is expected tomorrow and Thursday! My heart goes out to the folks in the flood areas, homes hit by tornadoes, etc.! If you don't like the snow, maybe you should move! JMHO!
The topic was about the snow. You can open another topic about weather in other areas of the country if you wish to discuss that.

The topic is More Snow. That is what is being discussed. Start your own thread and people can discuss weather in the south.

The topic was "whining about the snow"!!!!!
Why the attack. The topic was about the snow. If you want to discuss weather in other parts of the country you can open a new discussion here. Just because you are not concerned about the snow does not mean others are not. Just because you do not like a certain topic dose not mean you can ruin it.

Sounds pretty John! Been there - done that!
We were in the 70's and sunny today. Still nice, it's only going down to mid 60's overnight.
But our precip will be rain for the next few days. Cold this weekend (50's---yuck).
I'm headed up north mid January. Jersey shore to be exact where it was in the 70's there on Christmas. But, of course, it will be cold when I'm there, I'm sure.
Not a fan of cold! I hate it.

I just read that we have surpassed the amount of snow we received all last year. The reason it's an issue is that we're at the end of the city/county budget for removal this year. Not that they won't be able to steal funds from somewhere else. Good news? No snow is predicted for the next 10 days! John, that should make you happy since you're not that far from me!

I hate snow except on Christmas day and Christmas eve.

Hi MaggieMack,
Must have snowed in the wee hours or real early morning. I see about another 3" right now. Looks light enough to use a broom, will see.
The County does our roads since do not live in the city. Still pay City Taxes, but can't vote on anything or anyone in City office. Still that is a big bunch of bs, but!
No more snow would be fine with me. Have a happy/healthy New Year,
hckynut(john)
