Sorry you are having a hard time.
@nun ya........ Yes, that is what they keep saying. And then I notice they changed their face page......go figure. If they think that will bring in more sales, they have another guess coming. There would be more sales probably if they would change these other things they have promised us they would change.
Yes, I am having a tough time with the chemo this go round. It is very potent.....where the other was toxic. Don't know how many treatments I will have to have. Get one every other week. Eye vision, hearing, loss of appetite, and get very tired easily. Also find that I get very nervous easily........

Maybe call them and request something be done. They shouldn't have said they were looking into it and then do nothing. I'm sorry you are having a tough time, I know chemo is not pleasant. Stay strong.

I was wondering if you can adjust your computer to make the screen less bright? I have a MAC desktop and my IPAD where I can make it less bright. Maybe someone who is more computer literate than myself could help you. However, Raven's suggestion is an excellent one about the special glasses.
Wishing you all my best.....
@VioletEyes.......I have adjusted the brightness on my laptop.
As far as glasses for reading on here, I don't think my eye specialist would want to to do that. They are well aware of my problems right now.......and they are saying I should get my vision back to where it was once I am off the chemo.
Thanks so much for your continued prayers. That is so important for anyone going through something like this.

PLEASE......no one else tell me I need to see my eye doctor. I am in close contact with my eye specialist, oncologist, primary doctor, and now an ENT....... They all know what is going on.......
Thank you.........

I think of you often and continue to read your thread. My heart goes out to you regarding the side effects of chemotherapy. I pray that you will go into complete remission and can enjoy life again. You have been very strong through all of this and have been very courageous.

Thanks cowboy.......glad I'm not the only one this brightness is bothering.....I know it is not just because of the chemo.
As far as snarky goes......that is how some folks spend their lives being. I usually try to ignore those that are that way. They have to live with themselves, I don't......

I suppose next posters will be saying that if they knew my age or Show Me's
we would be told that we are to old to be here to try to read on these forums or that our eyes are too old and that's our problem..wrong!
What is wrong with a person asking for some help to tone down the greyness. Why should we need to buy another pair of glasses??
It's not our glasses we need help with.

Thanks so much for your kind words. This has been the longest 8 months of my life.....I'm not giving up, but do have my down days when I wonder if I will ever get into remission. That is my goal. I still have a lot I want to do in my life and I'm not ready to go...... Since it is metastatic melanoma, it can pop up any place any time. That is why I have to have the PET scans done on a regular basis. So far, so good. And the MRI tells me it hasn't hit my brain.

There is nothing wrong asking for help.
I don't understand the rude comments. I've noticed lately people post and are mean, but don't dare do it to them.
