ONCE AGAIN WE ARE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH NOTIFICATIONS and HEARTS.  Please have this reported to the Powers to Be.  It really needs to be fixed.   THANKS.

@ShowMe  I just went to check my notifications and it was totally blank, said no notifications.  Where did they go? They were there this morning.

They are popping in and out. A few seconds ago, they were there. Now they aren't. 

No big deal for me. I don't pay all that much attention to them.

Apparently it is working now.  Let's hope it lasts.....

When the notifications go out, it also means that the MODS are not receiving any just as all of you. They appear to be working at the moment and I will continue to monitor the situation. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

Silly me! I just signed on and thought no one had left any hearts of messages. Didn't dawn on me there could be a problem. DUH - It's Sunday and we had to "spring forward" last night. Guess my system hasn't adjusted well. <face palm> 

Thanks for the heads up! I'll keep watching to see what hearts/messages may be lurking whenever they are back.

It really is, and there's a lot of thread titles that shout, too.  I don't understand why that is permitted, actually.
