Re: MIND-BENDING HISTORICAL CONNECTION

Fascinating, Oznell.  What an intriguing fact to unearth and bring to our attention.

I appreciate these sorts of things.

As the daughter of a father who married and had children late in life, I am always amused when people pause after hearing that my daddy was born in 1900.  Fortunately for him, he always looked at least 10 years younger than his actual age.

Re: MIND-BENDING HISTORICAL CONNECTION

What about Dwight David Eisenhower, II?  He was "Ike's" grandson.  Does he qualify for your search or did I overlook a parameter or two?

Re: MIND-BENDING HISTORICAL CONNECTION

Hmm, @golding76 ,  interesting question, as usual.   I just checked--  the first DDE was born in 1890, and the next DDE was born in 1948.   So, in their case, much more of a normal span of years between that grandfather and grandson's debuts on this earth, no?  They were born in adjacent centuries, at least, which the Tylers in question were not, at 1790 and 1928 respectively....

Wow, they look so much alike.  High forehead, nose, ears, face shape, etc.

Re: MIND-BENDING HISTORICAL CONNECTION

Thank you for clarifying the criteria for sifting through these granddads and grandsons, Oznell.  I figured I missed something.
