one day your daughter in law and son might be caring for you.

just something to think about.

Ummnnn no that is never going to happen. for one thing I am 53 and she is 33 so she might go before me!

Have you no filter?

I'm kidding!!!! Suddenly I am suppose to kiss her tushy because she might be caring for me. Are you kidding??? What about the women who don't have kids? They should have kids for the sole purpose of their needs later in life. What if they have kids and they still don't help. I joke around a lot. Not going to change now. I also don't want her visiting me when I am older. Aging id hard enough. I am kind to her. I drive 2 hours there and back for ""date night"". I give fab gifts. People have to let go of their opinions of how others have to be. I don't ask her to change.

I am thinking the DIL was right...wow.

She still should have not called her that but I have a feeling it was provoked or much more to it.

I think there is probably a lot more to this story. As ND said earlier when I responded about her rudeness the other day. There is her side of the story and the DIL's side of the store and then what really happened.

When I was joking I was thinking when I am 90 she is 70. I didn't mean when she was young. It fell flat and for that I am sorry if it sounded harsh.

{#emotions_dlg.blink} wow.

If you don't want her visiting when you are older, be careful what you wish for.

That is true. I am just telling my side. However that is all I can go by. Why do her feelings trump mine?

I got your joke. Also really don't get this animosity towards you? WE are all different. Some like to devote their lives 24/7 to their grandchildren and others don't. Doesn't make one or the other wrong...just different.

People are posting on here without reading all of your posts and making a lot of unfair ASSUMPTIONS and may I say unfair JUDGMENTS. May I say ""judgmental""?

I think he wouldn't be surprised by your vibe...at all.
