MESSAGE OF A THANK YOU NOTE FOR A KIND DEED

I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR THE PERSON THAT OFFERED TO WRITE OUT AND PRINT THE FOODIE RECIPE FOR THE PUMPKIN EARTHQUAKE CAKE.  I JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW THAT WAS VERY, VERY, KIND.

Speaking of that recipe, I made the cake a few days ago.  It is delish!  After it cools, the texture is brownie-like.  It also made me think of a gingerbread flavor.  All-in-all, an excellent recipe.

Re: MESSAGE OF A THANK YOU NOTE FOR A KIND DEED

My daughters and I write thank you notes and mail them all of the time.

Often we will send them to each other.  For instance October 13 is my granddaughter's 17th birthday.

I emailed her a gift card.  She lives about 45 minutes from me.

She will send me a genuine thank you card in the mail.

I don't like text messages for birthday or thank you's.  I like getting something in the mail.

Sometimes my youngest daughter for no special reason sends me one of those cards and are 3D when you open them.  It's a wonderful surprise.

I'm not even terribly fond of pumpkin, but "pumpkin earthquake cake" as you describe it, sounds fantastic!  I must hunt it up!
