I was wondering why I haven't seen Mario on the Chew for some time. I heard yesterday on the news that ABC fired him from the show due to accusations of sexual misconduct dating back to 2010. He has also backed away from his restaurants. He issued a statement and admitted he was a heavy drinker and acted inappropriately at parties, etc. What a great example he has set for his two sons who are in college. What they must be going through at school.

I think that is a terrible thing to say. To lable "men" is not right because there are a lot of wonderful men out there. And a lot of women who will do a lot of things to get to the top too.

It isn't a man or woman probelm; it is a problem of people who have no morals. Let's stop labeling people by race, gender, nationality, etc.

Just how many great men do you know? I'll bet a lot of them! They far outweigh the stinkers.

@Sooner ... DH and I feel the same. We have seen both sides. I've been "abused" in the workplace, but I've seen others "use" it to get what they wanted. The sad part is that they were proud of it then. Now, they could use the same info to get back at someone that they actually used. There is a very fine line when it comes to who is using whom.

.... and where is the proof? Take them at their word? I'm for firing/arresting anyone (man or woman) who is guilty. More than one accuser? Proof in numbers?

I'm just remembering the horrific period of time when teachers at pre-schools were accused of molestation all over this country mainly because the experts told us that these children could not possibly come up with the stories they were telling if they were not true. Meanwhile reputations were ruined, people fired, arrests made and then.... other "professiionals" said to hold up a minute, went back into the mire and realized that many of the children were not molested. It was quite a period.....

do you need more proof than the man himself admitting to wrongdoing?

Please don't conflate coerced children with adult women .

The incidents are not related at all.
