I'm really excited to get the Merlin app downloaded.  I took a screenshot of your post so I can be sure and set it up correctly.

I love to watch birds here.  We have so many different varieties in my area.  Since your in MO, I'll bet we share a lot of similar ones too.

There's some lovely bright yellow birds here, but they never nest in any of the birdhouses.  They go high up in the trees in my front yard.  One bunch already hatched p, so there's a dozen tiny yellow ones just learning to look for food from the ground.  I love to sit and watch them every morning.  I'm not sure what they are either, so I know I'll live this app!

I have a bird identification book, but it's not area specific.  I'd love to have one like you posted.

I really appreciate your taking the time to let me know about these things.  Thank you again.😃❤️

I'm certainly gonna do my best to try and get those beautiful yellow birds.  I really appreciate all the information you provided, identifying the bird and letting me know about the Merlin app.

I have no idea what species of bird she is @cheriere but what a lovely one she is and how special that you were able to witness and photograph her preparing for her future babies!! ❤️
