From the very little I know about all of it, I'd agree with you!!

Marp...I know that.

My first impression...it's all about the owners. This may sound weird, but I see darkness in both of them. Something just isn't right. I'm glad Lux is out of that environment. I wouldn't trust either one of them in any way.
Lux may or may not have that syndrome (I'm not convinced, & I don't think anyone else was, either.) Jackson HAD to say certain things, but I could tell he wanted Lux out of that home. He knew something wasn't right.
I'd be curious to see if the bad reactions with Lux go away completely once he knows he's safe & loved with his new guardians. The attack during his first stay with them may have been triggered by a previous episode with the other owners. I'll bet Lux becomes a GREAT cat, & he'll be forever grateful to his new guardians.
Thank you to Jackson & everyone involved for giving Lux a new chance at life.

i watched the episode too, and it wasn't Lux, it was the owners. Lux is a beautiful boy and it is hard to believe he ever did that when they called 911. He was calm right away with Jackson, and he has a new home now with people who love him. I don't think he has that cat sickness thing either, Something triggered it but we may never know what. As long as he is a happy and loved cat, and he is now, I think he will do just fine.

Oh thank God for that... poor baby. I missed the show last night. I planned to watch but something came up and we were not home in time. I'm glad Lux is where he is loved and appreciated. The previous owners should be ashamed of themselves.
Maybe this was answered in the show last night but if Jackson was so attached to this cat why couldn't he take him in?

Hi Susy-
Jackson didn't need to adopt Lux, because the cat got THE BEST furever home he could hope for. The new guardians are an older couple who have fostered cats for the local shelter for many years. They are very calm, loving people, & they instantly fell in love with Lux. Even though they know the cat has some issues, they don't care- they love him exactly the way he is. The woman got tears in her eyes when Jackson told her Lux would be their kitty. He struck the jackpot with his new guardians.

I thought I read in the article that the cat is on medication...is that correct?

Yes, at least at the time of filmimg. The vet couldn't find A SINGLE thing wrong with Lux- even after an MRI. I think they gave him meds to help his transition. With time, the new guardians may decide to eliminate the meds. Lux didn't fit the profile for the syndrome he was medicated for.

Well, I'm glad he's in a good home now.
