I have seen wipes and other cleaning stuff at the front of every store I have been in...except Walmart that isn’t smart enough....they do have Purell wipes to clean the handles of your shopping cart, though.

I snagged the last bottle of hand sanitizer at my grocery store.

And...whispering...a bag of Cadbury's mini eggs.

So, the sanitizer is to get rid of the evidence of the eggs @tansy ?  Hmmm.....  LOL

It’s good to see people making an effort, anyway....because it is still flu season, and the flu has already killed far more than the coronavirus

I wonder how much they have jacked up the prices on cleaning supplies?

People are going to be very surprised when they learn hand sanitizer and many disinfectants are ineffective against the coronavirus.

They're just going to strike while the iron is hot. It's good business sense to make as much profit as possible, when the economy is facing uncertainty.

Besides, they know that if they don't sell these coveted items, others will.  And, these items will give some people peace of mind. It can be a win-win situation.

I DO object, when I see retailers selling emergency type of items, at jacked-up cost. Now that IS taking advantage and needs to be prohibited.

I thought you were going to say the bulbs for planting were there. Our local news is telling everyone paper goods are going to be in a shortage. Empty shelves ahead for us all.

Did you ever walk into Lowes or Home Depot when snow is predicted?  Shovels and salt as soon as you walk in.
