Love this story on Yahoo. BOA branch in Fl is served with a foreclosure notice

This Homeowner is Naples Fl was foreclosed on by BOA in 2010. Only one problem. THe HO had paid cash for his home and never had a mortgage. THe bank finally dropped the procedure but the HO had to spend $2600 in legal fees to defend the case. He sued in court to colletc the fees and won. The bank failed to respond to any letters and calls regarding payment of the judgement so their attorney went to court and got a order to seize the bank's assets. Two sheriff's deputies and a moving truck showed up at the bank branch with a court order to seize the assets within including furniture, computers and cash. Needless to say this caused great consternation at the bank. A hour later the HO had a check for $5200 to cover his original fees plus additional costs incurred in arranging for the seizure order. I love it. About time someone slapped these arrogant banks down to size and showed them that they cannot ignore the laws just because of who they are.
