I care more about the teaching/learning, than the room itself. The room is nice and he spent a lot of his own money.

I've been following him for awhile.  He's a top-notch teacher and presents at education conferences as well.  Smiley Happy

He has a really big classroom.  He's wearing a nice outfit!

He's a kindergarten teacher.

Yes, it says so in your thread title.

Wow!  That is a dream room for the students as well as a teacher.  So big!  I wonder if it's a private school in a wealthy neighborhood.  How many students does he him?   How much money did he personally put into it?  Not expecting an answer, just wondering out loud.  I've seen classrooms that had as many as 40 students in it and not nearly that big.

Very creative and he presents such a variety of media.  Looks like he spent quite a bit of his own $$ as many teachers do.

I know!  Gasp!

I love how he incorporates his love for playing instruments into learning.  They also have dance parties days a couple times a year when he turn on his dance party lights and the kids have a blast.

@Mellie32  -  I love that he has instruments in his room!  It's sad that music and art classes are getting cut in a lot of schools.  I was introduced to the piano (which I still play to this day) because my grade school introduced us to it at a young age.  Sometimes this is the only place where children have the opportunity for exposure to the arts.  His room really is big!

Here's another cute video of a sight word game he does with a Thanksgiving theme.

Meh -- doesn't bother me and I have Native in my blood.  That is a sound that's part of many Native American cultures and traditions just as dreamcatchers, feather headdresses, rain dances and war paint are part of the culture.

@Mellie32  If he is doing a unit(s) on the traditions then the "chant" would be acceptable.   But if he is only using the "chant" to depict our Native Americans, then I feel it is out of line.

Pretty sure he does a whole unit learning about Native American tribes and traditions.  I think he has a video on that too.
