I like Alberti too but have not seen him in ages. I don't watch the Beauty IQ. Watching tv on a computer is not enjoyable to me. I have to say all the Christmas programs this early in October is ridiculous. I believe the Q could wait until after Halloween.

The show seems a bit frantic to me. And they both seem to be pushing buying multiples. Didn't enjoy the show as much as I thought I would.

I fear someone has recently been making Valerie drink from the giddy QVC juice cup. I've definitely noticed over her last few visits she is much more amped up. She's not her normal, calm self. And she's even talking over hosts which she seldom used to do. I, for one, DO NOT LIKE. These frenetic presentations don't make me want to buy more. They make me nervous...and I get up and go do something else.
Just my opinion.

I love watching Alberti and wish he was on more. He does a good job. I only caught about 30 minutes of him with Valerie, and what was obvious to me is that she REALLY enjoys having him as the host. She kept saying things that indicated she loved his ideas and that she wanted to go to his home to see what he has done, and to do some sort of a remote from his home on Facebook.
She seems to feel that he has a great sense of decorating style, and I would have to agree. He was throwing out a lot of good ideas and she was loving that, from what I could tell. I wouldn't be surprised if she asked for him to be the host any time she is presenting, although I don't know that the vendor has a choice.
I think they may have come across as rushed because, as in other programs, they are only allowed so many minutes per item they are selling. And since both of them were handing out great ideas, it was a race to get all those ideas mentioned.
I find Alberti to be respectful of the people he is hosting. I have personally talked with one of the vendors who has worked with Alberti on QVC and that person said Alberti is wonderful to have as a host. The reason given was that Alberti not only knew the product(s) being presented and the vendor felt Alberti had done his research, but Alberti asked great questions to keep the dialog going, even though he knew the answers.. Also, that even though they had a restriction on time to present, Alberti allowed this particular vendor to get across all he wanted to say without constant interruptions.

You're not the only one. I don't enjoy him at all.

I have to agree.....the last time she was at the Q i noticed her with one of the hosts (can't remember which one) but she kept interrupting and finishing their sentences...my first thought was maybe she had a bit too much caffine that afternoon!! Was surprised today w/Alberti it was similar...............still enjoyed the show though...

l prefer the female hosts mainly. (sorry) It's a voice thing. I miss host Dave James, because I enjoyed his pleasant voice and demeanor.
Many times on here, I have said VPH could be a host. She is that good!
IMO VPH is best paired with Leah, Pat, or Mary D. (ITKWM)

When you put a Valerie show in a one hour format when it should be two hours, when you have to spend a few seconds on items which may require more, when you have a fast pace instead of a relaxing experience, it isn't a pleasant watch.
I think the hosts as I said before in these fast shows should allow Valerie to talk much more and maybe she wouldn't be in a frenzy if that is how she comes across.. To me she tried her best to show her designs and describe despite the hosts.
There are certain shows which deserve time and Valerie's are shows which need a normal pace and no one talking like there's no tomorrow. The Q is so interested in selling it just has poor planning and no regard for the customer at times. By the time the host tells us how many are gone, it's on easy pay, and every other tiresome old selling point they throw out how can a vendor get a word in!

Nope. You're NOT the odd person out. I'll join you. When he's on, I take advantage of my remote and go elsewhere.

Alberti is a doll, imo.![]()
Valerie has lovely items but I'm not in the market for holiday items.
I didn't see this particular show but as others have said there is a time restraint sometimes so things move quickly.
I don't agree that Valerie and/or Alberti seem fake. Alberti is more lively and Valerie is more laid back.
I think calling somebody a "fake" is just wrong. What would they have to do to be "genuine"?
Perception, perception, perception.
