I ordered a bracelet from Evine and have been tracking the package online for 9 days, called their CS and it's on me. Evidently they do not automatically credit your account or offer to send a replacement until they investigate the situation. They are sending me claim forms that will arrive in 2 or 3 days to fill out and then return to them, another 2 or 3 days. I've never had this happen before and it is inconvenient to say the least. The Q always credits your purchases up front or tries to accomodate you in some way when packages don't turn up. I appreciate that, I guess that's why they are number one! I will have to think twice before I buy from them again because of their lost package policy.

Wow, that's too bad. I just had a package from Land's End lost and they sent a replacement out as soon as I reported it and will investigate after the fact. I've only had a few packages lost, but that's always been the way it was handled. I would call them out on that.

Wow, I have not been reading good things about Evine.

Did you pay for the purchase with a credit card? You are not obligated to pay for something you have not received. Call your credit card company and initiate a dispute.

I would not buy anything else from them. I would put in dispute with your CC company.

That's why I stopped buying from them when they were Shopnbc.  And I was a good customer!  It's been years and I still get mad.  I had to have the form notarized which added insult to injury.  And it was only a $35 top.  That was enough to turn me off them....forever.  They treated me like a thief after I spent thousands over the many years I shopped with them.

Spoiler

Please let us know if you have to have your papers notarized.  That's totally unnecessary.  All it does is vouch that you signed the form.  I'm sure they're hoping you'll be so inconvenienced that you'll just blow it off.  I get things notarized free at my bank but I typically have to wait an hour or so.

I don't know what the tracking says, but maybe the degree to which it is 'lost' is their issue.  If UPS has truly lost it, it would seem that the information should be available on the tracking and they can verify it for Evine, making all this paperwork moot.

I'm not siding with them or anything.  In fact, I quit them a short while back.   But who knows - maybe they've had a lot of fraud, especially this time of year when stealing seems to be even more popular among some.

@chickenbutt.  This business with the papers has been going on for years, it's not seasonal.  It's never happened to me but whenever I hear about it, it infuriates me.  I'd probably just call my credit card company and report non-receipt of merchandise and tell them where they could put their papers.

@Kachina624 One day after I posted about the lost package from Evine I checked the tracking again and the package was again in Harrisburg, the next day it was at our local post office and I finally got the package today. The package had an estimated delivery date originally of 12/3 so it was lost for almost a week. Thank goodness I don't have to go through all that nonsense. I don't know if I'll still receive paperwork, but if I do I'll let you know if it needed to be notarized. I love some of their products, but I think I'm done with them. I think I may write a letter to Mike Bozek their CEO about this policy, I'm sure they don't want people to know what the drill is until after the fact. I certainly would have never started buying from them if I would have know about their lost package policy.
