I don't mind at all.  I'm one of those oddballs who hates the sun.  It makes me feel sick!  It also means less heat and humidity.

It's only temporary.

It makes the winter months just long and cold.

Re: Losing Daylight

[ Edited ]

For Texas, Standard Time makes sense and so does losing daylight, we should never have been put on Daylight Savings Time. The sun may set early, but it takes awhile for twilight and darkness. When twilight is not until 9:37 PM, and with the extra daylight and darkness sets in even later it just keeps the hot tempertures going and our A/C keeps on turning, those extra hours make a big difference in our utility bills!!! Twilight coming earlier helps make our cooling bills more affordable.....In August twilight hits at 8:30 PM, October 7:30 PM---December 6 PM

Yay! Bring on the darkness! This time of year when Fall is starting to set in makes me so happy. I'm all about the Fall and Winter.

I hate when it's light out until 9:00 at night!  I think the sun has been setting by 7:00 or so these days.  The earlier the better for me!

I love longer waking hours of daylight. We are outdoors people and I run almost daily.
