@CelticCrafter I know what you mean about washing the material.  I also washed material and it does come out a mess!  I also have friends who work in fabric stores and they talk about sometimes feeling dizzy and it's supposed to be (perhaps) from the formaldehide that's in the material.

I don't know if any of that's true.  I do know when I wash the material before I sew it, it's a mess.  I haven't sewn anything in quite a few years (maybe 3 or so).  I do wash the linings I put in the baskets to cover the treats I give out to others.  But I only do that AFTER I've washed them.  I usually have to iron them too.
