Looks like we're having lake effect snow

It's really coming down here in Southern Arkansas. We're supposed to get up to 6 inches. We've lived here for over 5 years and it's never snowed this hard. It does snow but only about an inch or so then it melts right away. Well not so today. We've already got about 2 inches and it's supposed to be cold tonight and keep the snow on the ground.

We had freezing rain and sleet earlier so the snow is on top of that. No equipment to clear the streets either. So here we sit. We've already gotten our supplies from the store, gas for our generator and made sure our gas fireplace works.

We're from the north and we understand but when you live here, it's a whole different ball of wax.
