Hhmmm, some bad reviews here yet I love mine and use it a lot. Just for the heck of it before posting this I took out a bill that's due soon and ran it over the top part (the part you keep) covering my name/address & account number. I ran it vertically then horizontally over that info then went to the window and held it every which way. I can't read a thing on it, it's all blanked out. Wonder why it doesn't work for some people.

I do that too and it works!

Perhaps if you only have a line or two to cross out a black magic marker might do the same job, don't know. But I'm usually blanking out a larger area than just a line or two so it's quicker and easier than going line by line.

I'm looking for the name, item number if available, of an item that will "block out" personal info, addresses, Rx numbers, credit card statements, etc.  I know it's not a good description, but this thing is something like a roll-on ink stamp and was sold in units of 3.  I've looked at "security" items, but no luck.  Mayber someone can help.  TIA,

@coffee drinker  - I see you already got the name of this set. I bought mine last year and I use it lots; at least I use 2 of the 3 pieces. The little one has a little tape inside and it never works right. However, I use the others often, for mail, and especially prescription vials. Zip zip and all your information is gone. It's a good deal too.
