I agree the plane shouldn't have taken off due to the hazardous conditions, but don't think the company should bear all the blame. Am sure the pilot was under pressure to get to the event and get there in a hurry. Unfortunately people in a hurry to get places don't always make good decisions.

Agree @KKJ. I wasn't there. I don't know who made the final choice to attempt the flight. If there's any sort of evidence that the pilot alone chose to take the risk, then fine, take action. Otherwise, tragic as this was, I somehow doubt the widow is hurting for funds, though I have no idea about the other people who were lost in this event.
