Re: Look What Was Napping in Our Back Yard

@rms1954 - Thank you for that picture. Fox are such beautiful animals. We have one that occasionaly comes by and drinks out of our fountain. He/She is very healthy looking with a gorgeous coat and bushy tail.

There are also grey foxes that are good at climbing trees. Not sure of their area as I have not seen one by me.

This is the first and only fox of any kind we've seen in our yard.  Haven't heard of a siting from any neighbors.

Re: Look What Was Napping in Our Back Yard

Precious!  I saw a fox with a broken leg in my yard.  Knowing he could not hunt i started putting food out.  Chicken parts, turkey, hamburgers.  He came to eat every day and slowly recovered.  The following year he brought his family, female and two pups.  Cutest thing ever.  The pups played like little dog puppies. "My" fox sat there like a proud father.  They even got along with my cats.

@TW    Bless you for helping him.   How wonderful that he came back to show you his family.  Do you still provide food and water for them?
