About 4 years ago, I purchased Long Term Care insurance ...I debated but decided to get it after a few co-workers told me I should get it...and I was working. It costs a little over $2000 a year.
I don't know whether to keep sending the yearly payments or just 'let it go'. Sure, I will lose what I put into it but it is expensive (and no longer even offered at many places). I am married with a chronically ill husband, no children. I have a fear of nursing homes.
I would appreciate any opinions. Thank you.
