I just heard that the attacker was also carrying a machete, 3 people were injured, one with life threatening injuries.

So far, no one dead, except for the attacker.

From what I read ,it seems the perpetrator has been under police surveillance for a while..he was known to the police

It seems he was using a fake suicide vest. Thank goodness for that

This is such distressing news! My heart bleeds for the unfortunate victims, that are guilty of nothing more than being in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Incidents such as this remind us of the fragility of life. My most heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to anyone affected by yet another senseless act of brutality, including the victims, witnesses, family and first responders.❣❣❣ I don't understand the mindset  of anyone capable of such terrorizing malice, but their heart is in definite need of prayer also.

I'm glad the damage was limited because the the assailant was limited to such an inefficient weapon. Somehow that criminal did not manage to get a gun. Hmmmm, how could that be?

Well he could have had a bomb.

I believe knives are prohibited to be carried on the streets of London. Acid attacks are happening there as well. Then there are vehicles running people down.
