Purchasing Lock and Locks for years. Very upset - lately the tops tabs are breaking making the product useable. The final straw was my pie container top breaking over the Thanksgiving week. It may be a year old but only use a few times a year. Cannot find replacements. Not even sure i would want to replace. Thinking of seeing what other products are out there. Anyone else having problems with lids. I had one botom break too.  The product does not see the same as it was a few yers ago. I do not own a disherwasher. Only hand wash. Any thoughts?

I think LnL will send replacements if you can show proof of purchase.

@ClevelandChris,

The quality of this line is not the same as it once was.  The containers I bought 5+ years ago are much higher quality than my newer pieces, which is why I stopped buying this line.   If I wanted a cheap plastic bowl, I would go to a dollar store and get what I paid for.

             I, too, 100% agree!     !   !

"Very seldom to I have _any complaints_ to post here, ""IF"" a purchase was from qvc.

My purchases have decreased by ONLY to top brands.

I buy ONLY those item(s) I had /have, than Not

"...meaning if purchased here and defective, I would send >>>>>back".

Fortunately, 80% is either what I expected or just okay.

AND! Only through the months of spring when new items come out, also during holidays.

I have purchased Lock & Lock several years ago from a fine department store, ands still have the clear. I did purchase the 16pc set (L&L) in April of this year.     Big Mistake!

*****Absolutely HORRIBLE with the snap clicks!

I did not do a return since 5 of the smaller pieces were easier to open and snap close. I don't intend to ever buy any qvc high quanity L&L again.

Am using the other pieces without the lids for cotton pads, cat dishes and most are just ``catch me all`` for whatever

my observation= >>just junk<< for what I received..may be just mine...I have no idea (?)

I use to actually believe that almost anything I bought from qvc was excellent. NOT TRUE FROM 5 YEARS AGO..(FOR ME), SO MY BIG $$S INVESTMENTS GO TO OTHER SOURCES= quality!

After reading, I know..it's not being an issue owned by me. Great for the purchasers that had no problems....

I have ones where one tab is broken but the other 3 seal it fine and I still use them. Usually they break because they are cold from the fridge or freezer and I drop the lid on the ceramic tile floor. I drop things a lot - arthritis in my hands.

I grew up with Tupperware....lifetime guarantee.  Over the years styles changes but I had been able to get replacements for a few things that cracked or were lost.  The last time I purchased many bowls with ridged lids most of them cracked.  Not made any longer (the cracking could be the issue) but now I can't get replacements.  Also same thing with colors no longer made when part of a set.  I bought Lock n Lock and so far, so good and less expnsive if thre is a problem.

I have many pieces of lock n lock. I have not had a problem with anything breaking. But I do have problems with mildew underneath the seal. So when they come out of the dishwasher, I have to take out the seal so it can air dry. Kind of a pain.

@ClevelandChris,   I had a tab snap off and I did not have the receipt.  This time when I purchased, I saved the receipts.  They are guaranteed for LIFE.

It is definitely true that they aren't the same quality as when they only offered the clear in the beginning. My originals still work perfect to this day and they have had some heavy wear. One problem I've had lately in my L&L purchases is the NASA type suction involved in trying to open them up after they arrive.
