I am really tired of seeing Lisa R. on the Local Steals segments of our local news. Since she started maybe 4 or 5 months ago, it appears she only has 10 items for sale that she rotates. Most are old items that you can get any where, such as heating pads, Lori Greiners phone purse, tooth paste just silly stuff. The biggest "deal" I saw was 25% off but most are 15% off. Whoopee!

I wonder whose idea it was to have her on every local abc news show, 7 days a week and are these "steals"  items in her inventory that she is trying to get rid of.

Hope she is making a good living from her "deals"

@grandma2pkmh.  Boy you're right on target about that.  I even emailed the station and complained but they continue, so now as soon as they announce her, I change the channel.  She's the last thing I want to see during the news.  Here, she's on the NBC station.

@grandma2pkmh  I think a I am one of the few who has never seen this. Maybe it is not broadcast in my area. From what I understand she is just a spokesman for these products. I don't think they are actually hers to sell.

She is on my local morning news, too.  I would never buy that stuff....it's all available at competitive prices elsewhere....and nothing I want anyway.

On another network they hawk the same junk....only the salesperson is Genevieve Gorder.   She doesn't entice me to buy, either lol.

The Local Steals commercial airs right after the weather segment of our local news.

I always change the channel when the weather segment is done, therefore, I don't have to see her commercial.

Can't stand her or those ads. I put my TV on pause until I figure it's over then go back to the news. If I've missed a few moments I can scroll back a bit.

It's just a commercial with a spokesperson like Marie, Martha and Snoop Dog, Lori Granier. Tom Sellik and hundreds of others.  It's a paid job just like any other spokesperson, including hosts and vendors. Many I can't stand either but I move on bye.
