This is wild, thought I would share this.  It was on our local news this morning and late last night.

I am aware the diver was not actually swallowed, I used the news headlines, my mistake.  I thought people would find the story interesting, I guess I was wrong.

Except he obviously wasn't swallowed.  Just tasted and spit out.

If that story is true, OMG, but I have doubts since he has so few injuries and left the hospital the same day.

@kare29   I read that earlier this morning.  Can you imagine?  That would give you mightmares for awhile.

I bet the whale was surprised too.

The first thing I said to my husband was "Is this for real?" He assured me it was and considering he did quite a bit of diving in his earlier years and is familiar with the waters I trust his judgement.  The whale probably did not like the taste of his wet or dry suit and his oxygen tanks and knew it had something foreign in it's mouth, that's my guess anyways.  

I may live on the coast but am not an ocean goer.  "Jaws" made sure of that!

It was on ABC Nightly News with David Muir last night.

I read the article and while quite large, it was a baby whale. A human would be too big to swallow. I would’ve been terrified.

His friend who pulled him out of the water saw the whale spit him out so yes, it's a true story.  It may have been a baby whale but big enough to have a full grown man completely in it's mouth, breathing tanks as well.
