Well, I'm sorry but I just have to admit it - my husband is a pig man! He drives me crazy with his sloppy, messy ways.

I am not a neat freak by any means. I don't go around cleaning every minute. But certain things I think should just be common sense things that shouldn't have to be told or asked every minute. Such as wiping your feet whe you come inside (he refuses to take off shoes), wiping your hands when you are doing dirty work or are cooking or have something sticky on our hands before you go touching doors, furniture, etc., when you eat or drink, cleaning up your spills or better yet - trying not to drip or mess all over furniture and floors - just things of this nature.

The doors, counter tops, tables, sinks, floors, and other items of furniture are constantly being messed up and/or ruined because he takes no care whatsoever. This is not even the half of it.

I have tried being nice, I have tried ignoring it, I have tried threatening with bodily harm - I've tried everything. It's so frustrating. I feel at times like I am living with a 4 year old! When I call things to his attention or get upset, then he gets mad at me! What? I'm not the one messing everything up and destroying things.!!! It's not like we have a ton of money and can just keep replacing things. And besides, I really like a lot of my things and would like to keep them.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, what do you do?
