I guess everyone begins in obscurity...in grade school my friend won tickets to see Herman’s Hermits...I wasn’t a huge fan but I went with her. The opening act was this strange-looking duo; he came out with big fur vest and she had tons of long fringe on her vest and bell bottoms....they were Sonny and Cher. No one had ever heard of them then.
