Actually, what I believe she said was that she has no interest in making a career out of infomercials and she participated in this one because she respects Dr. Denesse, is friends with her and likes her products.

I actually enjoy the Lisa threads....it provides great insight on social behaviors. These threads contain everything you need to know about female behavior...a constant reminder of those who choose to empower one another or those who chose the opposite end of the spectrum.
Oh please. The world would be a lot better without everything of themselves as part of some group--race, gender, etc. etc. We are all just people. And there are things we like and don't like about others--no matter the race, gender, political party, religion, etc.
We'll never make progress until we let go of a lot of the labels we stick on people--and sometimes hide behind.

Poke and caddie prod all you want, it absolutely matters not to me....I still believe a lot of the negative posts about LR or any other previous host/vendor is jealousy/envy of ones success. They say jealousy is a disease....get well soon...myself included.
Seriously? The whole "you're just jealous" thing is so Middle School. No one can make anything less than-I-love-them posts about anyone without their being jealous? That sounds pretty grasping-at-straws to me. Some people have less than stellar opinions of a person others like; it's called Life and Human Nature.
The whole "jealousy" thing has always struck me as something people say because they can't come up with anything to *say.*
It also supposes that every woman out there aspires to *exactly* what the person people are supposed to be jealous of has. Nothing could be further from the truth, whether it's Lisa or someone else.

I recently read on here that she was going to do an infomercial. Lol, I woke up this morning and channel surfing and there she was. I guess it's a paycheck, but seems a bit of a come down for her. Joy and Stacey Ann were also in it. Seems like the only former host that's gone on to better things in tv is Mike Rowe. Kathy Levine, Patti, Steve Bryant and others have all done the infomercials. Lol, I agree she looks like she's had work done, but did when she was at QVC as well. I always want to laugh at them selling lotions and potions.
Suzanne Runyan left qvc some years ago for HSN. She does the craft shows and hosts fashion as well. Really thought she did a great job at the Q and she has gone on to be a really competent host at hsn.
Suzanne is doing electronics this evening and doing such an amazing job. She is so comfortable in front of the camera. And she doesnt stoop to stupid or cutesy to sell.

"Unkind." "Speculative."
Two words open to wide interpretation, and different interpretations under different circumstances.
Half of everything that's ever posted on these forums could be termed unkind or speculative in the eyes of different people, for different reasons. IMO there's nothing inherently wrong with speculation - it's what everyone does 24/7 in one way or another. It's having thoughts and opinions.
It all depends on who/what is being discussed. If you (figurative you) like a person/thing you are quick to defend it and diss anyone you feel is "attacking" it/them.
If YOU (again, figurative "you") don't like someone or something, whatever you say in that case is fine, justified, the truth, etc.
We all see, every day on these forums, people who will rip into others for being rude, unkind, etc. in one thread, do *the exact thing themselves in another thread* - while continuing to righteously take others to task. So, honestly, the "unkind, speculative, rude" and etc. descriptions are pretty meaningless when spouted by those who exhibit identical behavior themselves.
I'm not targeting specific posters, I'm just saying everything is in the eye of the beholder.

I didn't see the infomercial. However, I honestly have a hard time understanding why anyone would be excited about watching it. I know, to each his/her own, but it's still a mystery to me.
